What is Secure-Slot?
Secure-Slot is a Canadian platform that helps independent professionals screen new clients. When someone wants to book with you, they pay a small verification fee first. If they show up, great. If they ghost, you kept the fee and avoided wasting your time.
How does the verification process work?
You send your personal booking link to new clients. They pay a verification fee (you set the amount, usually $25-$50). You get a text instantly. After the appointment, you mark whether they showed up. If they did, you can earn credits back. If they didn't, the fee is yours.
What's the difference between the plans?
Free tier: Pay $10 per booking from your welcome credits. Starter ($49/month): 10 bookings included, plus fake number detection. Pro ($199/month): Unlimited bookings, see flagged clients before accepting, priority support.
What if my client doesn't show up?
Mark it as a no-show. The screening fee is yours, and that client gets a strike. After repeated no-shows, they're flagged — other independents can see their history before accepting them. Protects everyone.

💳 Credits & Billing

What are credits and how do they work?
Credits are how you pay for bookings inside Secure-Slot. You get $50 free when you sign up, earn more from referrals, and can earn credits back when clients show up (depending on your plan). You can't withdraw credits as cash, but you can use them for unlimited bookings.
How do I earn credits?
Three ways: 1) $50 welcome bonus when you sign up, 2) $50 when someone you refer does their first booking, 3) A percentage back when clients show up (40% on Free, 50% on Starter, 60% on Pro).
How do I upgrade or renew my plan?
Send an Interac e-Transfer to our payment email with your unique memo code. Your plan turns on automatically within minutes. No auto-renewal — you choose when to extend.
Can I get a refund?
Subscription payments and platform credits are non-refundable. In Verified Mode, client verification fees are also non-refundable. See our Credits & Refund Policy for full details.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Interac e-Transfer for Canadian providers. This is the fastest way to activate your plan — typically within minutes of sending the transfer with your memo code.
How does the referral program work?
Share your unique referral link with other providers. When they sign up and complete their first booking, you both receive $50 in platform credits. There's no limit to how many people you can refer.

🔒 Security & Support

Is my data secure?
Yes. We use bank-level encryption, secure HTTPS, and follow Quebec's Law 25 and PIPEDA. Client phone numbers are hashed for privacy, and sensitive data is never stored in plain text.
