📋 General
What is Secure-Slot?
Secure-Slot is a Canadian deposit protection platform that helps independent service providers secure bookings and reduce no-shows. Clients pay a small verification fee that proves they're serious about their appointment.
How does the verification process work?
When a client books through your link, they pay a verification fee (typically $5-$25). After the appointment, you enter the PIN they received to confirm the service was completed. The fee is then released according to your plan's revenue share.
What's the difference between the plans?
Free tier: Pay $10 per booking from your credits. Starter ($49/mo): 10 bookings included, earn 50% credits. Pro ($199/mo): Unlimited bookings, earn 60% credits, advanced VoIP detection, priority support.
What if my client doesn't show up?
If a client no-shows, you can mark the booking as 'No-Show' in your dashboard. The verification fee is retained, and the client receives a strike on their account. After repeated no-shows, clients are banned from the platform.
💳 Credits & Billing
What are credits and how do they work?
Credits are platform currency used to pay for bookings and subscriptions within Secure-Slot. You earn credits through welcome bonuses, referrals, and the revenue share from verification fees. Credits cannot be converted to cash or transferred to others.
How do I earn credits?
You earn credits in three ways: 1) $50 welcome bonus when you sign up, 2) $50 for each referral who completes their first booking, 3) A percentage of each verification fee (40% Free, 50% Starter, 60% Pro) as platform credits.
How do I upgrade or renew my plan?
Send an Interac e-Transfer to our payment email with your unique memo code. Your plan activates automatically within minutes. There's no auto-renewal — you choose when to extend.
Can I get a refund?
Subscription payments and platform credits are non-refundable. In Verified Mode, client verification fees are also non-refundable. See our Credits & Refund Policy for full details.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Interac e-Transfer for Canadian providers. This is the fastest way to activate your plan — typically within minutes of sending the transfer with your memo code.
How does the referral program work?
Share your unique referral link with other providers. When they sign up and complete their first booking, you both receive $50 in platform credits. There's no limit to how many people you can refer.
🔒 Security & Support
Is my data secure?
Yes. We use industry-standard encryption, secure HTTPS connections, and follow Quebec's Law 25 and PIPEDA for data protection. Client phone numbers are hashed for privacy, and sensitive data is never stored in plain text.
